The Ex-Pat:
Hi. I’m a writer and business owner from Canada living in Osaka, Japan. These pages are mostly about my novels and other scribbles, but I will occasionally drop in bits about the ex-pat life and my travels.
To start with here, that pic above has a bit of a story. It was taken at sunset from the parapet of the Summer Palace, one kilometer almost straight up the side of a mountain above the city of Udaipur, Rajasthan, India.
Definitely a country, state and city you want to visit. India is one of those places that you can only talk about in superlatives. Nobody ever goes to India and says, “It was okay.” You either love it – it becomes a deep-down part of you that you don’t want to leave and can’t wait to get back to – or you absolutely hate it.
There is no middle ground with India and it features in at least one of my adventure novels, The Blade Of Shiva.
